| Okay, I really hope people see this... I have an idea for a short novel (novelette?) that I'd like to develop on here, but I need some audience feed back before we start [and lots of comments throughout too would be nice]. The plot can go two ways. The main idea of both will be the same - real life situation, human protagonist, fantasy creature hammered into fitting believably into the setting, etc. However, it can be a YA book, with YA characters and setting, and suitable for a YA audience, or it can be an adult's book, with adult themes, characters and a deeper level of what the video raters call "peril". What would be preferred? (Notte bene I mean what I say about the adult one definately carrying a pg certificate. The YA one will still be a good idea, just a different character age and less gross moments.) Edit:- This may have to wait a while... exams have leapt on me from all directions.

| I'll stay with M as my non-writing name then. I'd quite like to do the adult one, for the challenge, but I'm not sure how appropriate it is for here. | |

| Aye, but not everyone is 18+, are they? Go for whatever you want to. As I writer, I believe that you should go for whatever your heart tells you to, just as long as you don't give up halfway through. Which reminds me.... *Toddles off to non-band related fic.* | |

| Finally Danni! I think the 18+ is winning, and I'll put a warning at the top. If you're not into that sort of thing, don;t read... | |

| True. It's just so I don't look like a complete wierdo if there's any gross/frightening scenes, and I'm rubbish at ratings AND people have different opinions on what goes in which rating. [*breathe*] I'm basically making sure I don't get shouted at. However, this may be dead to the world until summer, due to excessive AS exams. | |
