Sharing Music

Well that's good. Like i've said before (which you might not have read) there's always plenty of fan videos on youtube, which is free, just for a quick listen. And, obviously the webisode's sound tracks, that way they can get to know the guys too...

yeah someone i know was being really annoying the other day and was going on about how her cousin had their album!! lol!! she thought it was out allready and she was going on about them( i dont believe a word she says cause she is very known for lieing, who says they sriously were dating little chris at one point, honestly and so much other stuff but anyway) and she was bein really annoying and patronising to me! lol so i messaged the guys and told them and alex messged me bk and that and and sed thankyou for caring hehe!!! well words to that affectt.....

lmfao! what a spoilt brat they sound like XDDDD Nah, Their album listing has been ready a while, they're probably finishing tweaing one or two things or started burning the album cds already, may be sorting out album artwork and a name for it atm, coz it didn't have one at the start of the tour...

I've been reading this with interest cos I totally agree NOW that the music should not be shared, because I care so much about the guys I'd never do anything to hurt them etc etc. BUT saying that if I hadn't heard a load of their demos back in March I'm not sure I'd be the mad obsessed fan that I am. It was because I liked ALL of the songs that made me sit up and notice them. If I'd only heard the one (Parallel Worlds on Kerrang at the time) and the others on the MySpace player I'm not sure it would've had the same effect. I wouldn't normally get so into a Band unless I'd heard an album which I totally loved, so because of the demos giving me a sneaky peek I've now had a fantastic year of gigs etc.. and for each release have bought 20 copies, plus got loads of merch.
Anyway, as someone said at least now there are loads of places you can direct new fans to hear bits of different songs without doing anything illegal etc.

Yeah, everytime I get someone asking me about them I usually find a video on youtube of a few songs/webisodes & give them that. & I agree with Anne(aka Maddie), I love the fact I heard some of the demo versions, because even though I love Parallel Worlds, its not my favourite EM song & what really made me love them was Running Away, I don't know why it just struck a chord & it's been my favourite ever since :')

Had a few people pestering me 'Do you have this song?' for other artists as well, and it's like 'No!' but I ignore them and they go away - or I fob them off saying iTunes has it locked or whatever, so I can't. Which is true! I never use itunes much so dont' really know how it works but my sister downloaded a couple of tracks from there to put on CD (when her computer broke) & all she had was a CD player! & the iTune songs wouldn't work xD

Only ever heard song off the singles, read lyrics to some others and they look good any recommandations would be great.

Shame some people i Know download music off the net before cd release's it spoils the anticipation of the music (hope that sentence sounds right lol ).

I love the music that i have heard so far and hope to hear miore from them in the future.

Obviously still figuring out is an awesome song...i'm SO glad they are finally bring it out as a single. I recommend last call to NYC, obviously jacky jules...i suppose you've heard the B-sides to the white one is evil...i love them too. I would go on, but i don't have the time to write ALL of their songs that i've heard.

I can't WAIT for the album...elliot minor have kept a couple of songs close to their chest such as broken minor...which i just can't wait to hear!!!

I have bought all the singles so far, aswel as getting some for free, but any songs that are released i will buy even if i have it already, simply to help the guys out

i agree, but, most songs migh not be on the album, they have recorded more than 20+ demos and an average album is only 12.

EM's album from what I remember is 11 tracks long. There have been a fair amount of demo's released as bsides to the singles, and anything unused may be re-recorded at a later date for more b-sides or possibly on the 2nd album.

I saw a bulleitn on myspace this morning from someone looking for LOADS of EM songs including Broken Minor and Still Figuring Out (single version)- had to say that people aren't supposed to have these yet and to wait for the single / album.

The only song I haven't heard is Christmas, and it's intriguing me. I neeeeeeeed it to complete my collection haha.

The only 2 people I've ever sent EM songs to are my brother and best mate, who are both almost as big EM fans as me so I know they'll still buy the cds anyway .

i feel tht more people hould listen to elliot minor songs and to fans so they would be bigg. i going them for my work in college and i said in it the elliot minor r a great, fab and brill band in the worlldd and i send them a mesage to see how r they? i have got elliot minor bebo aswell. it was my friedn the told me to listen to there music and i just feel in love with there music

i got the broken minor in about july time. my friend sent it to me after dan sent it to her. i was the 3rd fan to hear it. i didnt send it to anyone else. can say that i didnt have the urge to though.

Since it is against the rules to send the music around illegally, where can I get legal and fair copies of all their acoustic songs? I have Parallel Worlds, Jessica and TWOIE and am looking for Still Figuring Out, The Liar Is You, Time After Time and Lucky Star, I believe (though if there are any other acoustic tracks, I'd like to know).
So yeah, where can I get these from? And are there any others? Any answers as quick as possible will be appreciated. Thanks.
